Data-driven urban waste solution
This product and service duo provides a platform for citizens designed to stimulate community engagement and participation through data transparency. Access to real-time data on their local waste receptacles fosters a sense of agency and ownership for one’s neighborhood. This results in proper waste disposal and limits excess waste that is left in the street which can lead to the presence of vermin and harms the environment.
Encouraging socialization through cooperative play.
Play Together is the design of an innovative playspace that addresses the static and uninspiring nature of traditional playgrounds. Instead, large moveable parts require cooperation among children to create their own unique playground - encouraging creative and imaginative play. The modular anchor units can be infinitely arranged and rearranged to fit any location - such as vacant lots in dense urban areas.
Through a child’s eyes
…they can feel as if they are in a world of their own allowing them to play more freely.
Through a parent’s eyes
….they can easily see through the playspace enabling safe supervision.

Sensory-friendly toothbrushing system
This step-by-step system gradually encourages an independent tooth-brushing routine. Originally designed for a 6-year-old with Autism who found tooth brushing to be a traumatic experience. Interchangeable silicone heads provide a gentle, sensory-friendly, transition to traditional toothbrushes. The project was a collaborative effort between Industrial Designers and Occupational Therapy Students.
A three-dimensional study inspired by the works of Piet Mondriaan.
With its bold lines, vibrant colors, and geometric shapes, the sculpture embodies Mondriaan's signature style, capturing the essence of this groundbreaking approach to art.
Each side of the sculpture is a custom composition designed to reflect the artist’s style. The result is five additional arrangements that could have been a painting themselves.
